We are scheduled to have a gospel meeting with R.J. Stevens from October 16-20 (Sunday through Thursday), 2011.  We will have more information and a flyer available for this meeting in the coming weeks.

From Sunday, April 3 through Thursday, April 7, Luther Bolenbarker of the Herty church of Christ in Lufkin, Texas will be joining us in Pineland to preach and teach.  So, clear your schedule and bring your Bible, a friend, and an open mind to hear God’s word!

From an early age, Charles Willis had a gift for music. His mother enrolled him in piano lessons at age four. He continued his interest in music by joining the band in his school years going on to study tuba and piano at Sam Houston State University earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 1988. Charles taught Junior High School Band for ten years in the Clear Creek I.S.D. (just south of Houston, Texas) with many award winning bands and hundreds of accomplished students. In 1998 he left the public schools to begin preaching full time. He has been with the New Caney Church of Christ since 2003. He is actively involved in teaching public and private Bible Classes and is the author of Effectively Teaching Adult Bible Class, and Giving God Control. Charles is married to his wife of 22 years, Deanna. The Lord has blessed them with two children: Joshua (age 17) and Rachel (age 15).
